Site Operations Manager

Job Summary:

 

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Site Operations Manager to oversee daily operations at our mining facility. The Site Operations Manager oversees all current and future mining operations at the assigned site, reporting to the Senior Operations Manager and Director of Operations. This position leads teams, ensures the safe and efficient operation of mining facilities, and implements strategies consistent with Satokie’s standards of professionalism, operational excellence, and innovation. The Site Operations Manager drives site performance in hash rate, uptime, productivity, compliance, and employee development while fostering a positive and growth-oriented workplace culture.

 

In this role, you will ensure the efficient operation of facilities, support day-to-day business activities, manage risks, and maintain high levels of client satisfaction by meeting operational goals.

 

 

Duties/Responsibilities:  Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform these essential functions.

 

  • Achieve site hash rate and uptime goals; swiftly identify and remove obstacles to success.
  • Lead and manage daily workflow per standard operating procedures (SOPs); draft and implement site-specific SOPs in coordination with management.
  • Develop, monitor, and drive achievement of site KPIs for operational staff; provide coaching and training as needed.
  • Maintain accurate inventory and tracking of all miners, site assets, customer assets, and company equipment.
  • Ensure all technicians are trained to maintain the health of the fleet, perform repairs, and process warranty shipments as needed.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for onsite and remote technicians, vendors, and logistics partners.
  • Oversee safety and compliance, maintaining OSHA standards and promoting a safe work environment.
  • Prepare regular reports to management and clients on site production and progress toward objectives.
  • Manage operational budgets and deliverables to ensure efficiency and cost control.
  • Monitor task management and quality control functions, including during remote supervision.
  • Foster a culture of professionalism and teamwork in alignment with company values.

 

Qualifications and Experience:

 

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor's degree in business, engineering, or related field preferred.
  • Minimum 2 years of leadership experience in operations, maintenance, or similar environment.
  • Proven success leading team(s) to meet uptime and production targets.
  • Experience with capital and O&M (operations and maintenance) budgeting.
  • Proven experience in planning, scheduling, and delegating complex operational tasks.
  • Experience with daily work management programs and equipment risk prioritization.
  • OSHA 10 certification required; OSHA 30 preferred.
  • Must successfully pass a background check.

 

Nice to Have: 

 

  • Knowledge of electrical systems, power distribution, and cooling solutions in large data center environments.
  • Familiarity with Bitcoin mining or industrial-scale computing operations.
  • Understanding of safety protocols and best practices for data center or industrial environments.
  • Ability to work independently and solve problems with high attention to detail.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills; able to work collaboratively within a team environment.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced setting.

 

 

Supervisory Responsibilities:

 

  • Oversees the daily workflow and performance of all site operations staff.
  • Recruits, interviews, hires, and trains new staff as needed.
  • Coaches, develops, and evaluates team members.
  • Administers discipline, performance management, and termination in compliance with company policy.

 

Physical Requirements/Working Conditions: 

 

  • Work performed in industrial data center/mining facility environments with exposure to loud noise, high-heat environments, air particulates from equipment and facility operations, and varying/extreme weather conditions.
  • Regular standing, walking, bending, lifting (up to 50 lbs.), and use of tools and equipment.
  • Periodic desk work and computer use as part of reporting and administrative tasks in office environment.
  • Will be required to work weekends, nights, or be on call as part of the standard duties.

 

 

Travel:

10 % - Travel anticipated for this role.

Compensation 

  • $85,000 - $100,000
