- Active California State License ā Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA)
- Current CPR certificationĀ
- Current TB testĀ
- Current Physical: Must be physically unrestricted for job requirementsĀ
- Desire to work with patients in a home settingĀ
- Commitment to excellence in your workĀ
- Pediatric experience is a plus!Ā
- Bilingual experience is also highly valued!
ā How You'll Succeed Here:Ā
- Provide individualized therapy using a play-based approach for children aged birth to 3 years, under direction of a supervising OTĀ
- Support and facilitate each child's progress through developmental milestones, promoting inclusion, and fostering strong caregiver-child relationshipsĀ
- Monitor childās progress and report to supervising OTĀ
- Educate parents about therapy techniques for practice outside of sessionsĀ
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including child development specialists, speech therapists, occupational therapists, physical therapists, service coordinators, physicians and familyĀ
- Participate in monthly Reflective Supervision meetingsĀ
- Utilize effective and professional communication skillsĀ
- Submit electronic documentation with signatures on a daily basisĀ
- Other related duties as assigned
