
Class Action Summer Associate
DiCello Levitt is seeking motivated and thoughtful law students to join our Class Action Litigation Practice Group as Summer Associates in our Chicago office. This immersive program offers hands-on experience in complex, high-impact litigation aimed at securing justice for individuals and communities affected by corporate misconduct, consumer fraud, data breaches, and other systemic abuses.
Summer Associates will work alongside experienced trial attorneys on active cases, contributing meaningfully to legal strategy, research, and advocacy.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct extensive legal research
- Assist with trial preparation, including drafting motions and reviewing discovery
- Contribute to client communications and strategic planning
- Support litigation across a range of class action matters
- Collaborate with attorneys across offices and assist other teams as needed
Required Qualifications
- Completion of at least one year of law school at an accredited institution
- Strong legal research and writing skills
- Demonstrated interest in complex litigation or public interest law
- Ability to manage multiple assignments and meet deadlines
- Professionalism and discretion in handling sensitive matters
Preferred Skills
- Prior experience in litigation through internships, clinics, or coursework
- Familiarity with legal research platforms such as Westlaw or LexisNexis
- Strong analytical and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and within a team
