Credit Analyst

Job Description

The Credit Analyst position is responsible for analyzing customer financials and preparing credit memos in order to approve, risk rate and modify credit facilities.

Requirements

  • Responsible for underwriting including financial analysis of credit request;
  • Participate in customer meetings and make direct inquiry for specific customer information based on prior research, experience and knowledge.
  • Assist with general portfolio management.
  • Assist with accurate and timely credit actions, including periodic reviews, renewals and modifications.
  • Assist with credit risk related reporting.
  • Assist with other credit administration related task.

Qualifications

  • 4-year degree or equivalent experience.
  • Basic knowledge of credit and financial analysis techniques.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Strong analytical and research skills.
  • Developed PC skills including proficiency and capability in word processing and spreadsheet software.
  • Ability to meet deadlines.
  • Ability to maintain the confidentiality of credit and Customer information.
  • Good interpersonal skills and team orientation.
  • Must be eligible for employment under regulatory standards applicable to the position.
