Structural Engineer

As a Structural Engineer, you'll play a pivotal part in ensuring  lift safety and effectiveness on  each project to meet our high quality and performance standards.

Basic Job Functions:

In this role, you will be responsible for drawing and designing all aspects of our lift plans, and industrial design solutions. Your duties will include, but aren’t limited to:

 

  • Creative Design: Develop safe and effective lift plans that are in compliance with legal regulations and  adhering to industry codes and standards.
  • Technical Analysis: Utilize software to create drawings that will be used in a variety of applications.
  • Collaborative Approach: Work closely with a variety of teams to communicate design specifications accurately  ensuring synergistic project execution.
  • Oversight: Review and inspect structural drawings for accuracy.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor of Science in Civil, Structural, or Mechanical Engineering from an EAC/ABET Accredited school.
  • Successful completion of the Fundamentals of Engineering exam prior to hire date (Preferred).
  • Proficient in verbal and written communication in English.
  • Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the US (Superior Cranes Inc. will not sponsor the need for a visa now or in the future).
