Surgical Technologist – Outpatient Cosmetic Surgery

We are looking for a detail-oriented, dependable, and professional Surgical Technologist to join our team and support our growing practice.
Position
Title: Surgical Technologist (Outpatient Cosmetic Surgery)
Schedule: Per Diem, availability for Thursdays and Fridays preferred
Location: Newton, MA
Responsibilities
Prepare the operating room and ensure all instruments, equipment, and supplies are sterile and ready.
Assist the surgeon during cosmetic surgical procedures (including abdominoplasty, facelift, breast augmentation, breast lift, eyelid surgery, liposuction, and other cosmetic procedures).
Maintain a sterile field throughout procedures and anticipate surgeon’s needs.
Handle surgical instruments and supplies with accuracy and care.
Adhere to infection control and safety standards.
Assist with patient positioning, draping, and preparation.
Support post-operative room turnover and equipment sterilization.
Sometimes act as circulator to open supplies onto sterile field, perform time outs, document in medical record (will train)
Qualifications
Graduate of an accredited Surgical Technology program.
Current CST certification preferred (or eligibility to obtain).
Previous experience in cosmetic, plastic, or outpatient surgery a plus but not required.
Strong knowledge of sterile technique and surgical instrumentation.
Professional, punctual, and highly detail-oriented.
Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
Compensation & Benefits
Competitive hourly wage based on experience.
$35-45 per hour
