Job Title: On-Call LEGO Robotics Instructor (K-8, After-School Program)
Job Type: Part-time | Contract
Schedule: 1–2 hours per week (as needed), Fall after-school program
Pay Rate: $30.00 – $37.00 per hour

Position Summary
Are you excited about building and coding with LEGO Robotics? We’re seeking a Substitute Instructor who can fill in when our regular LEGO Robotics instructor is unavailable. In this role, you’ll work with students in grades K–8, leading hands-on activities that build creativity, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.
This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys teaching kids, has some experience in youth programs, and is eager to inspire a love of STEM.
What You’ll Do
- Lead engaging 60-minute robotics classes once a week (as needed) using ready-to-go lesson plans.
- Show students how to build and program their projects step by step.
- Maintain a safe, positive, and well-managed learning environment.
- Foster collaboration, persistence, and curiosity in every session.
What We’re Looking For
- Previous experience working with children (classroom, camps, after-school, or similar).
- Knowledge of LEGO Robotics platforms such as Mindstorms, EV3, NXT, or LEGO League.
- Reliable communication and organizational skills.
- Dependable, punctual, and comfortable with last-minute assignments.
- Genuine enthusiasm for STEM education and encouraging young learners.
