Job Title: Marketing Intern

Compensation: $15/hour
Schedule: Part-time, 15–20 hours per week

 

The Center for Trauma, Stress and Anxiety is seeking a motivated Marketing Intern to join our team. This position offers hands-on experience in multiple areas of marketing, communications, and community engagement, with opportunities for mentorship and professional growth.

As a Marketing Intern, you will assist with content creation, campaign development, and outreach initiatives that help us expand our impact and support our mission of promoting wellness and mental health.

 

Responsibilities will be: 

Social Media Content Creation: Develop and schedule engaging content (graphics, reels, stories, posts) across Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, and TikTok.

Blog Writing & Development: Research, draft, and edit blog posts that align with our brand voice and audience interests.

Email Marketing: Assist in creating and distributing newsletters, event announcements, and client-nurturing campaigns.

Podcast/Vlog Support: Help plan, edit, and publish monthly podcast/vlog episodes.

Website Edits: Update website content, design, and functionality as needed.

Partnership Development: Assist in building and nurturing relationships with local businesses to increase brand visibility and create collaboration opportunities.

Community Engagement: Represent the organization at local business and community events to strengthen partnerships and promote services.

Field Learning & Professional Growth: Participate in weekly marketing team meetings, learning sessions (e.g., book club, case studies, industry trend discussions), and other professional development activities.

 

Requirements are: 

Interest in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field.

Strong writing, editing, and communication skills.

Familiarity with social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, TikTok).

Comfortable using Canva.

Basic knowledge of video/audio editing is a plus.

Self-starter with creativity, coachability, and eagerness to learn and grow.

Passion for wellness, mental health, and/or community-based organizations.
