Table for Lou - Marketing & Communications Assistant

ABOUT TABLE FOR LOU:

Table for Lou is a St Louis based nonprofit that teaches unhouse children and teens basic kitchen skills. We also cater in food to our local Children’s hospital. In this role, the student will gain a strong understanding of the innerworkings of a small, local nonprofit. They will gain an appreciation of how content is created and shared over social media, and will be able to see the impact that their hard work brings to families in need.

JOB DESCRIPTION: 

This position will create and maintain a content calendar for Table for Lou, including social media posts and for campaigns. This position will also create various digital deliverables, including posters, and recipes related to our programming.

Required Qualifications:

• Must have accepted a Federal Work-Study award for the current academic year. 
• Strong verbal and written communication skills 
• Access to a computer

Preferred Qualifications:

• Attention to details. 
• Experience using graphic design applications such as Canva or Adobe Photoshop.
• Strong familiarity with social media platforms, including Instagram, Facebook, MetaSuite and TikTok
