To ensure cohesion and collaboration in the workplace, Resource Group associates filling remote roles are expected to be available for meetings and other work related needs between 9AM-4PM CST. Customer facing positions may have other preferences which will be discussed during the interview process.

What You Will Do

The Resource Group, a subsidiary of Ascension, is a business transformation services organization that specializes in resource and supply chain management. This internship falls within The Resource Group's Strategic Sourcing Solution which focuses on contracting for the supplies and services that meet the criteria determined by caregivers. This group also continuously develops innovative approaches to contracting to further drive savings. Throughout the 12-week experience, interns will work on unique personal projects, collaborate with other interns to solve organizational challenges, and learn new business & professional skills. • Gain exposure to The Resource Group’s eSourcing process, including opportunity identification, event development, and post-event analysis
• Support development and maintenance of the eSourcing event pipeline by assisting with data collection, stakeholder communication, and documentation
• Assist with pre-event preparation, including drafting case documentation, reviewing event strategies, and helping coordinate eSourcing activities
• Participate in eSourcing events and auctions to observe negotiation dynamics and technology application in real time
• Support after-action reviews by helping compile executive summaries, event results, and lessons learned for continuous improvement
• Collaborate with Contract Design and Sourcing teams to understand how eSourcing integrates into overall sourcing and contracting strategies
