Marketing Intern
The Scalo Companies include seven companies rooted in the construction field: Burns and Scalo Roofing, Co. (Locations in PA and OH), Cuddy Roofing, Scalo Solar Solutions, Burns & Scalo Roof Asset Management, NexGen Design Systems, Inc., and Scalo Incorporated.
The Scalo Companies have been noted for our product diversification, involving roofing, sheet metal, and solar energy solutions. We are growing our business through continued investment in new technologies and energetic, dedicated employees.
We are looking for a Marketing Intern responsible for completing a variety of tasks to support the daily operations of the Marketing department.
Job Responsibilities:
- Participate and assist in the development and execution of brand and product marketing efforts
- Assist in the identification of new advertising opportunities and evaluate their performance
- Assist the Marketing Specialist with the company’s relationships with creative agencies, PR firms, and suppliers
- Assist in social media and email marketing campaigns
- Assist the Marketing Specialist with special projects and assignments as needed
- Other duties as assigned
Job Qualifications:
- Working towards a bachelor’s degree in marketing or a related field
- Proficiency in Adobe design creative suite and Microsoft Office is preferred
- Have ability to communicate effectively with people from diverse backgrounds
- Ability to work independently and within a team effectively.
- Possess a strong sense of accountability and high work standards.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with an emphasis on accuracy and details
- Must be able to work between 20-40 hours a week between 8 AM and 5 PM
Hourly Rate: $15.00 per hour
