Role
We’re looking for a detail-oriented Book Designer/Formatter to join our team. You’ll work on interiors and layouts for both print and digital (Amazon KDP, IngramSpark). This role is ideal for a college student with strong design skills who wants real-world publishing experience.

Designers earn 5% royalties on projects worked on

Responsibilities and Learning

  • Format manuscripts for print and ebook (Using Adobe InDesign).
  • Design clean, professional layouts for interiors.
  • Assist with typography for desired aesthetic
  • Ensure files meet specs for Amazon KDP and IngramSpark.
  • Collaborate with founder to bring books to life.

Programs & Software:

  • Google Drive
  • Adobe InDesign (Willingness to learn if no experience)
  • Zoom for biweekly sessions

Qualifications

  • Eye/Interest for typography, layout, and detail.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Passion for books, design, and creativity.
  • Willingness to learn and pursue curiosity
