About ProMazo
ProMazo partners with Fortune 500 companies to transform their businesses with emerging technologies. Our business development team secures long-term (9–12+ month) AI engagements with top companies including Charles Schwab, PPG, Revlon, L’Oréal, and others.
Through the ProMazo Fellowship Program, we recruit and train the best collegiate and graduate-level talent across the country. Fellows are placed into ProMazo project teams that deliver on these secured client engagements.
Our goal is to give students hands-on, client-facing experience while strengthening both their technical expertise and soft skills—so they are Day 1 ready when entering the workforce.
The Role
We are seeking the next generation of AI-Native Talent—undergraduates, graduate students, and PhDs who are passionate about solving real-world business challenges through AI.
Fellows will participate in a 2–3 month training and engagement program before being assigned to ProMazo project teams. If selected, you’ll work part-time (15–20 hours/week) in a remote, structured team environment. Our project teams meet daily in our virtual office for three-hour collaborative work sessions, ensuring consistent communication, peer learning, and direct exposure to industry leaders.
What You’ll Do
- Contribute directly to ProMazo-led AI projects for Fortune 500 clients
- Collaborate with other high-performing fellows and ProMazo staff in daily team sessions
- Develop and deploy models, pipelines, and tools that solve real business problems
- Communicate project updates and insights to C-level executives
- Strengthen both hard skills (technical depth) and soft skills (communication, teamwork, professionalism) with dedicated ProMazo coaching
What We’re Looking For
We are seeking students with a proven track record of curiosity, problem-solving, and execution in AI-related fields. Strong applicants will be able to showcase past work (academic, personal, or professional) and demonstrate both technical and interpersonal excellence.
Core Skills (must-have):
- Python (advanced proficiency)
- Cloud platforms: AWS (SageMaker, Lambda, EC2, S3, etc.)
- Data experience: SQL / NoSQL databases, ETL, preprocessing, visualization
- ML frameworks: TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn
Additional Skills (to stand out):
- NLP & LLMs (Hugging Face, LangChain, RAG pipelines)
- Generative AI (diffusion models, fine-tuning, prompt engineering)
- Computer Vision (OpenCV, YOLO, Stable Diffusion)
- MLOps (MLflow, Weights & Biases, Docker, Kubernetes)
- Big Data tools (Spark, Hadoop)
- Edge AI / on-device ML (TensorFlow Lite, Core ML)
- Strong math foundations (statistics, optimization, linear algebra)
- Awareness of AI ethics, fairness, and responsible deployment
Differentiators (if you’ve got these, we want to see them):
- Published research, open-source contributions, or Kaggle results
- Full-stack AI app development experience
- Time-series forecasting expertise (finance, supply chain, ops)
