Job Summary: 

We’re seeking an outgoing and organized Recruiting and Office Administrator to drive our recruitment efforts and support office operations. This role is perfect for someone who loves connecting with people, thrives in a collaborative environment, and is eager to learn and grow. You’ll primarily focus on recruiting top talent while taking on administrative tasks as you settle into the role. This position is based in our Madison office, with potential for hybrid work in the future based on performance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the recruitment process using Indeed, including posting job ads, screening resumes, and conducting initial candidate outreach.
  • Guide new hires through the process of preparing for their insurance licensing exams.
  • Communicate with candidates and coordinate with our team of agents to ensure a smooth hiring process.
  • Perform office administrative tasks, such as scheduling, managing correspondence, and supporting agents with client-related documentation.
  • Maintain accurate records and handle sensitive information with professionalism and confidentiality.
  • Contribute to our vibrant office culture by assisting with team events or fun work outings.

Qualifications:

  • No experience required, but 1-2 years in recruiting, HR, or office administration is a plus.
  • Strong communication skills and an outgoing, engaging personality to connect easily with candidates and team members.
  • Comfortable using Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook); experience with CRMs or applicant tracking systems is a bonus.
  • Ability to multitask, stay organized, and adapt in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
  • Enthusiasm for learning and growing in an administrative career.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; associate’s or bachelor’s degree preferred but not required.

Compensation and Benefits:

  • Competitive salary: $30,000–$40,000 per year.
  • Flexible schedule (30-35 hours/week, typically 8 AM–4 PM, with flexibility for personal needs).
  • Paid time off (PTO).
  • Potential for future dental and vision benefits (details to be finalized).
  • Access to Aflac’s supplemental insurance plans (e.g., cancer, accident, short-term disability, hospital, life insurance), self-funded by the employee.
  • No weekend or holiday work.
