Job Overview
We are seeking a creative and motivated Social Media Intern to join our dynamic marketing team. This role is ideal for college students looking to gain experience and build their resume as well as network connections. This position provides a monthly stipend as well as the opportunity for college credits.

Duties

• Assist in the development and execution of social media marketing strategies across various platforms such as TikTok and Instagram.
• Create engaging content for social media channels, including graphics, videos, and written posts.
• Conduct keyword research and implement SEO best practices to enhance online visibility.
• Utilize tools such as Hootsuite, Buffer, and Adobe Creative Suite for scheduling and managing posts.
• Monitor social media trends and perform social listening to gather insights on audience engagement.
• Analyze social media performances to optimize campaigns.
• Support brand management efforts through consistent messaging and visual identity across platforms.
• Proofread content for accuracy and adherence to brand guidelines.
• Participate in photography sessions and video editing projects as needed.

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of social media platforms.
• Familiarity with graphic design tools such as Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator.
• Knowledge of digital marketing principles including SEO, content creation, and social media marketing.
• Experience with Facebook Advertising is a plus.
• Excellent communication skills with a focus on relationship management.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while also being self-motivated.
• Detail-oriented with strong proofreading skills.
• A background or coursework in marketing, communications, or a related field is preferred.
