Social Media Content Strategist & Editor
We’re looking for a Content Creator & Editor to help build and grow our brand presence through engaging, viral-quality content. This role requires someone who not only understands how to create high-quality visuals and copy but also knows how to craft content that performs across platforms like Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, and YouTube.
This is an in-person role in New York City working directly with the founder. You’ll support both the founder’s personal social media presence and the company’s accounts. Strong editing skills are essential — you must be comfortable using tools such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, CapCut, or Canva.
Key Responsibilities
Plan, create, and edit short-form and long-form content optimized for social media.
Capture attention through viral hooks, storytelling, and platform-specific trends.
Manage a content calendar to ensure consistent posting across multiple channels.
Edit video, photo, and written content to align with brand tone and audience engagement.
Monitor performance metrics to iterate and refine content strategy.
Collaborate closely with the founder to amplify both personal and company social presence.
Qualifications
Demonstrated experience creating viral content (portfolio or examples required).
Proficiency with editing tools (Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, CapCut, Canva, or similar).
Skilled in video editing, graphic design, and copywriting for social platforms.
Strong understanding of trends, algorithms, and what drives engagement.
Self-starter with creativity and speed — able to produce high-quality content quickly.
Existing social media following is a strong plus.
Preferred Experience
Proven success growing accounts or building online communities.
Experience supporting founders, executives, or influencers in building their personal brand.
