Hydrogen/Ammonia Demo Support | Neology (Clean Energy Startup)

Neology is a Swiss clean-tech startup developing Ammonia Power Generators (APG) — compact, zero-emission systems that convert ammonia into hydrogen on-site for clean electricity production. Our technology replaces diesel generators in ports, mining, and off-grid industrial applications.

We are now launching operations in the U.S., including our first demonstration campaigns in Detroit.
💼 Internship Overview
As we set up and test our demonstration units in Detroit, we’re looking for graduate students who want to engage directly with real-world deployment of hydrogen/ammonia systems.

Key Activities:

  • Support the installation and integration of ammonia cracking and hydrogen systems

  • Assist in commissioning and field testing (startup, shutdown, diagnostics)

  • Document performance data, protocols, safety measures, and process flows

  • Interface with Neology’s technical team (Europe & US) on system optimization

  • Contribute feedback to inform product roadmap and system design

✅ Requirements

  • Enrolled in a Master’s or PhD program in a relevant engineering field

  • Experience or interest in hydrogen/ammonia processes, industrial gas systems, or thermochemical equipment

  • Familiarity with process instrumentation, pressure systems, or control logic (PLC-based systems) is a plus

  • Hands-on, proactive, and ready to work in a fast-moving startup environment

🌍 Why Join?

  • Work at the intersection of clean energy and field engineering

  • Gain startup experience in a growing international venture

  • Contribute to impactful tech solving global emissions challenges

  • Compensation available (hourly basis); academic credit can be discussed
