Marketing Intern (Unpaid) – Renew Mobility
Location: Grand Rapids, MI | Hybrid Opportunity Available

About Us:
Renew Mobility is a nonprofit organization dedicated to empowering individuals with mobility challenges by providing access to mobility equipment and resources across West Michigan. We serve over 1,500 people annually across 8 counties, helping them regain independence and improve quality of life through access to mobility equipment.
Position Overview:
We’re seeking a passionate and creative Marketing Intern to support our outreach efforts and help amplify our mission. This is an excellent opportunity for students or recent graduates looking to gain hands-on experience in nonprofit marketing, communications, and community engagement.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in creating and scheduling social media content across platforms (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn)
- Support email marketing campaigns and newsletter development
- Help design promotional materials (flyers, brochures, digital graphics)
- Contribute to website updates and blog content
- Research and identify community engagement opportunities
- Track and report on marketing metrics and campaign performance
- Collaborate with staff on storytelling and donor engagement strategies
Qualifications:
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or a related field
- Strong writing, editing, and communication skills
- Familiarity with social media platforms and basic design tools (e.g., Canva, Zeffy, Salesforce)
- Interest in nonprofit work and community impact
- Self-motivated, organized, and able to work independently and collaboratively
