The Role
We’re looking for a college student in NYC who lives and breathes social media. This role is for someone creative, comfortable on camera, and talented at capturing and editing content in real time. You’ll work side-by-side with our social team to make Soundmap go viral.
Responsibilities
- Capture and create engaging social media content (TikToks, Reels, stories, etc.) across Soundmap’s channels
- Attend pop-ups, shows, and cultural events around New York City to film content live and integrate Soundmap naturally into the experience
- Brainstorm creative campaign ideas and trend-driven posts with the social team
- Represent Soundmap authentically in the NYC music scene
Requirements
- Currently enrolled in a New York–based college or university
- Strong familiarity with TikTok, Instagram, and other major platforms
- Creative eye for video/photo content
- Outgoing, confident, and comfortable being on camera
- Passion for music, concerts, and New York culture
- Ability to work out of our NYC office and travel around the city (as needed)
