Next Gen Associate

Position: Next Gen Associate (Part-Time, Hourly)
 

Advances the mission of Real Life by working in partnership with and under the direction of the Next Gen Pastor to assist in leading Real Life Next Gen Ministries (Middle School, High School, and College).
 

Student Ministry Support

  • Assist the Next Gen Pastor with weekly student worship gatherings, including setup, tear-down, logistics, and volunteer coordination.
  • Build relationships with students, offering encouragement, discipleship, and connection.
  • Support the recruitment, scheduling, and care of Next Gen small group leaders and other volunteers. 
  • Help identify, encourage, and develop student leaders.
     

Administrative & Communication Support
 

  • Manage communication with parents and volunteers (emails, texts, reminders, sign-ups, etc.).
  • Maintain attendance and follow-up systems for students and guests.
  • Assist in planning and coordinating retreats, camps, and events.
  • Ensure logistical details (transportation, registration, payments, waivers) are handled
    accurately and on time.
     

Team & Volunteer Development
 

  • Partner with the Next Gen Pastor to equip volunteers for long-term effectiveness.
  • Provide hands-on leadership during student gatherings, serving as a reliable presence for students and leaders.
  • Cultivate a joyful, encouraging, and safe environment for students to belong and grow.

Expectations: Able to flourish in a fluid, growing organization, relational, able & eager to learn & leverage emerging technology, works well in & under authority, problem solver, low drama, “can do” enthusiastic attitude, high momentum, resourceful, able to maintain physical, spiritual, emotional & relational health. Resolves conflict in a godly & mature way. Possess enthusiastic support from his family.
