Role Overview
We are seeking a motivated Advertising Sales Representative to sell digital advertising packages, banner ads, and sponsored content opportunities across SISTAH Magazine. This role is commission-only (25% per closed ad sale) and is ideal for someone who loves building relationships with brands and delivering ROI-driven advertising solutions.
Key Responsibilities

Lead Generation & Outreach
- Build and maintain a pipeline of advertisers who align with our readership (beauty, wellness, lifestyle, education, social impact).
- Pitch ad space, sponsored articles, and newsletter placements.

Sales Execution
- Present rate cards and media kits, answer advertiser questions, and guide them toward the best ad tier for their goals.
- Close deals and track sales performance.

Account Management
- Ensure ad creatives are delivered on time and to spec.
- Collaborate with editorial team to integrate sponsored content seamlessly.

Revenue Growth
- Hit monthly and quarterly ad sales targets.
- Build long-term advertiser relationships for renewals and upsells.
Qualifications
- Experience in digital advertising sales or media sales is preferred.
- Excellent communication, persuasion, and follow-through skills.
- Comfortable working in a fully commission-only environment.
- Knowledge of digital publishing, media metrics, and audience targeting is a bonus.
- Charlotte, NC based a plus but not required
