Software Test Engineer with Electrical Engineering Degree
What You will Do:
- Hardware-Software Integration Testing at Sub-System Level.
- Determine and Develop Test Plan based on Customer Specifications
- Write Test Cases based on Test Plan using MagicDraw
- Hands-On/ HITL SIM Lab or Locomotive Testing for Multiple Sub-Systems
- Provide technical recommendations based on engineering expertise, and interpretation of tests and data analysis.
Required Skills (Technical Competency):
- Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering
- Hardware & Software Integration Testing
- Understanding Test Requirements
- Develop/ Write Test Cases for Multiple Sub-Systems
Desired Skills:
- Understanding of MagicDraw/ ClearQuest
- Strong Analytic & HW Troubleshooting Skills
- Ability to Interact with multiple stakeholders at all the levels.
- Physical Requirements & Work Environment:
- Must be able to board and perform tests on operating heavy equipment.
- Substantial amounts of communication and computer work.
- Must be able to work in a heavily regulated industry with strict adherence to procedures.
- Flexibility to meet business deadlines by staying late or arriving early.
- Typical 8-hour days plus lunch / 40-hour weeks / core (required) with a high probability of overtime/off shift.
- Ability to use personal transportation to visit customer locations.
