Job Description: Sales Engineer Intern (FunnelWhirl CRM)
Position Summary
The Sales Engineer Intern will support the sales and product teams in demonstrating, configuring, and promoting FunnelWhirl CRM, our proprietary outreach and engagement platform for government, higher education, and nonprofit clients. This internship offers hands-on training in CRM technologies, government contracting, and pre-sales engineering, preparing participants for future careers in business development, technical sales, or CRM administration.
Key Responsibilities
Assist in product demos and client presentations, showcasing FunnelWhirl’s CRM features such as pipeline tracking, automation, and reporting.
Learn to gather client requirements and help design customized solutions to fit use cases in government, nonprofit, and higher education sectors.
Support the proposal and RFP response process by preparing technical descriptions, product benefits, and demo configurations.
Participate in pilot project setups and onboarding activities for new clients.
Provide basic client training under the guidance of senior sales engineers and capture managers.
Document demo scripts, client FAQs, and technical notes for the sales engineering playbook.
Collaborate with the product team to test features and share feedback from client interactions.
Gain exposure to government procurement processes and compliance frameworks (HECVAT, VPAT, FAR/DFARS).
Training & Learning Opportunities
Hands-on experience with CRM platforms (FunnelWhirl, Salesforce, etc.).
Exposure to business development, capture management, and proposal writing.
Training in government contracting and IT modernization projects.

Qualifications
Current student or recent graduate in Business, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field.
Interest in technology, sales, and government contracting.
Strong communication and presentation skills.
Basic knowledge of CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot, or similar) preferred but not required.
Comfortable learning new technologies and explaining solutions to non-technical users.
Team player with attention to detail and eagerness to grow in a fast-paced environment.
Program Details
Duration: 3–6 months (with potential extension or full-time conversion).
Format: Hybrid/remote, with opportunities for client-facing engagements.
