Marketing Coordinator

We are looking for an energetic and entrepreneurial-minded Marketing Specialist to join our team.  

This position will support the content marketing operations of Eduvantis’ marketing services team, and requires excellent:

  • excellent written communication skills, 
  • excellent organizational skills and project management aptitude, 
  • active listening skills, 
  • extremely high attention to detail,
  • familiarity with a variety of social media platforms,
  • and familiarity with marketing terminology and strategies. 

This position provides substantial client-facing opportunities and is foundational for growth into a variety of marketing roles.

Core Responsibilities:

Content Marketing: Role supports a variety of clients through the development of outstanding content. Work includes:

  • Creation of content briefs in alignment with client brands and SEO best practices
  • Interviewing of students, faculty, and alumni for the creation of testimonial content and highlight stories
  • Copywriting for SEO and thought leadership, blogs, listicles, and other content development
  • Keyword research and SEO for developed content
  • Caption copywriting for social media (organic and paid)

Project Management: Serves as the project manager for a set of assigned accounts / projects. Work includes:

  • Building out project components / entering project tasks into the team’s project management software. 
  • Monitoring / updating project timelines, as appropriate. 
  • Monitoring task completion, following up with teammates and pushing work forward as appropriate. 

Client Calls: Participation in client calls for a set of assigned accounts / projects in order to record key discussion points and follow-up activities. 

  • This requires active engagement and understanding of our client engagements in collaboration with the team. 
  • This role then enters any follow-ups into our project management software. 
  • After entry, the MC is responsible for monitoring follow-ups for completion and alerting team members to outstanding action items and forthcoming deadlines. 

Quality Control: Responsible for the review of all follow-up items being sent out to clients for accuracy, including reports and deliverables for any requests discussed during the meetings. 

  • This includes proofing and the highest standards of professionalism.

Scheduling: Responsible for maintaining the team calendar under the direction of team leadership for assigned accounts. This includes: 

  • maintaining the calendar for all client calls,
  • coordinating internal preparation calls,
  • and scheduling special strategic reviews and other client-facing meetings as required.

Other tasks as assigned, including:

  • Client proposal preparation, renewals, changes in scope, or coordinating with external third parties for services that are being provided and need to be delivered and billed to the client
  • Competitor research using publicly available information or various digital market intelligence tools that the company utilizes
  • Data analysis for client reports 

 

Education, Skills & Experience

  • Outstanding organizational skills and multitasking abilities
  • Excellent written communication skills
  • Excellent verbal communication skills with a strong Zoom / virtual meeting presence
  • A strong desire to learn, to be pushed to achieve excellence, and a passion for working with clients
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Google Drive, and generative AI tools
  • Talent for storytelling and stepping into multiple brand voices
