Location: Garlington Health Center, NE Portland, OR
Schedule: Tue/Wed 9:30 a.m.–6:00 p.m. + 1 hr phone coaching Mon/Thu/Fri
Are you a Master’s-level clinician passionate about working with adults navigating chronic suicidal ideation, self-harm, or emotion dysregulation? Cascadia Health is seeking a Counselor III (DBT) to join our dedicated team at the Garlington Health Center.
About the Role
As a DBT Counselor III, you will:
Conduct suicide risk assessments and provide crisis stabilization.
Deliver weekly individual therapy and phone coaching to clients in the DBT program.
Facilitate DBT skills groups and a DBT graduates’ group.
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to support clients’ recovery and well-being.
Contribute to a trauma-informed, person-first, inclusive environment.
This position is represented by a labor union.
Qualifications
Master’s Degree in a behavioral science field (QMHP eligible).
1+ years of experience required; 3+ years preferred.
CADC preferred.
Strong skills in DBT, risk assessment, and evidence-based practice.
