Digital Communication Associate

We are looking for a talented and creative communicator to advance our mission. The Digital Communication Associate, based in Dublin Ohio, will collaborate across teams and with external partners to increase awareness and support for the Foundation’s work. In this role, you will craft engaging content for social media emails and blogs, while helping shape the Foundation’s digital presence. The ideal candidate is a strong writer with a collaborative mindset, sharp judgment and a knack for spotting emerging trends to engage audiences in innovative ways. Key Deliverables
 

1. Support implementation of the Foundation’s strategy to grow and engage our community through social media (e.g., Facebook, X, LinkedIn, Instagram, Threads), consistently conveying the organization’s key messages and brand voice
 

  • Collaborate with the digital communications manager and across teams to plan and develop social post copy and visuals across platforms and audiences that raise brand and cause awareness, support fundraising and promote event participation

 

  • Nurture the Foundation’s community of supporters and influencers across social media channels and identify opportunities to expand reach and engagement
     
  • Monitor social media engagement, track key metrics and recommend strategies to improve reach and impact; leveraging Sprout Social, Google Analytics, HubSpot etc., support the identification of successful content and emerging trends and share progress updates in Asana with internal teams and agency partners Manage the Foundation’s YouTube channel, including uploading videos and writing video descriptions that follow best SEO and GEO practices

 

2. Write, edit and proofread digital content, including blogs, website text and emails, in alignment with the Foundation’s brand standards and AP style and following best practices in SEO and GEO

 

3. Efficiently utilize content management and creative tools (e.g., Sprout Social, WordPress, Canva, Adobe, HubSpot, etc.) and submit requests to schedule emails through HubSpot

 

What You Bring

 

  • Undergraduate degree in communications, journalism, marketing or related field
  • 2–4 years of experience in digital communications or social media management required
  • Applies creativity to develop compelling digital content that advance the organization’s mission and goals; experience utilizing best practices in digital communications and email marketing; experience with search engine optimization and influencer marketing strategies a plus
  • Experience managing social media communities and/or contributing content frequently, utilizing various channels and management tools; ability to identify trends and translate analytics into action-oriented insights
  • Familiarity with tools such as WordPress, HubSpot, Sprout Social, Canva and project management systems (e.g., Asana);
