Software Engineer

A rapidly growing technology company in California is seeking a skilled and motivated Software Engineer to join its product engineering team. This is a highly collaborative role where you’ll work closely with product, system, and hardware engineers to build mission-critical technologies. Role:
✨ Design and build data pipelines and workflows enabling ingestion, transformation, and delivery of critical data
🚀 Define key parts of backend and data architecture, selecting frameworks and systems
💻 Develop and maintain real-time data infrastructure and backend services
🤝 Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate data into mission workflows
📈 Mentor junior engineers and contribute to long-term technical roadmaps
🏢 Work onsite 3+ days per week in either Los Angeles (Hawthorne) or San Francisco (Market Street)

Requirements:
🛠️ 2+ years of professional, object-oriented software development experience
🐍 Strong skills in Python, SQL data warehouses, and no-SQL systems
⚡ Proven experience building, testing, and supporting production systems
🔗 Hands-on experience with Palantir Foundry or other enterprise data platforms

Preferred Qualifications:
☁️ Familiarity with Azure or other cloud platforms
🎯 Background in defense, aerospace, or sensor systems
🧩 Experience with modeling & simulation (hardware/software-in-the-loop)
🌀 Knowledge of Agile practices including Scrum, CI/CD, and TDD
🌐 Additional experience with frameworks such as React
