 Position Name/Classification: Entry-Level Online Tutors Needed

Purpose/Role: 

  • To nurture and encourage less affluent children and youths to make the world a better place through education, opportunities for growth and giving back to their communities.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Knowledge of a zoom  for virtual tutoring
  • Review with and support students in completing their class assignments
  • Work with students to help them understand key concepts in the tutoring session
  • Providing students a positive and constructive feedback
  • Offering feedback on progress to students and parents where appropriate
  • Notify supervisor of additional support that may be needed for tutoring

 Qualifications:

  • A minimum of a high school diploma or GED equivalent 
  • Proficient in basic reading, writing, English, and mathematics skills 
  • Ability to comprehend and help young students complete their class assignments
  • Willing to help improve lives for the better
  • Great interpersonal skills
