JOB SUMMARY:

WICZ-TV, the Fox affiliate in Binghamton, New York, is seeking a full-time multimedia journalist.

POSITION PROFILE:

  • Who does the position report to? Suh Neubauer, News Director
  • What are the key responsibilities of the role? Report, shoot and edit on the weekends and as needed on weekdays.

 

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

  • Research and enterprise local news stories.
  • Write, shoot and edit reporter packages and vo/sots.
  • Write stories for the website and social media.

 

WHAT YOU WILL BRING:

  • Prior experience as a reporter, anchor and producer at a college television station strongly preferred, or previous experience as an associate producer/writer in a commercial TV station.
  • Experience using Ross Inception strongly preferred.
  • Experience using Microsoft Office, Outlook and Excel and Adobe Acrobat.
  • Knowledge of Premiere Pro and LiveU preferred.
