Nonprofit Policy & Governance Intern (Hybrid – Remote + Community Outreach)

Convert notes into clear checklists and draft policy pages from examples.
Proofread bylaws/policy drafts and flag questions or gaps.
Do light, guided research (e.g., “what does MD require for X?”) and summarize in 5–7 bullets.
Update a simple “policy tracker” (what’s drafted, reviewed, approved).
What you’ll learn (no experience required):
How nonprofit bylaws, policies, and procedures fit together.
Basics of compliance and board governance (agendas, minutes, approvals).
Version control and documentation habits that keep teams aligned.
How to turn real needs into simple, usable policies.
Helpful, not required (nice-to-have):
Comfortable with Google Docs/Drive; curious, organized, and willing to ask questions.
Interest in Public Administration, Human Services, Legal Studies, or Business.
