Program Overview
Rockefeller Capital Management offers a distinctive Summer Analyst Program experience as a premier independent financial advisory firm. Our diversified businesses, boutique size, and entrepreneurial culture shape a dynamic, personalized experience for our Analysts.
Our Summer Analyst program is a ten-week (June-August) internship program designed to provide an opportunity to experience the culture and atmosphere of Rockefeller Capital Management. Summer Analysts will be fully immersed in the day-to-day activities of the business providing opportunities to learn, grow, and excel.

Eligibility and Selection Criteria
To be eligible for consideration, students must be projected 2027 graduates and in good standing at the school. Analysts should have an interest in the financial services industry and be eager to learn and make an impact.
POSITION
Rockefeller Capital Management’s Philanthropy team within the Family Office business is seeking a Summer Analyst who will work directly with representatives from this team. In this role, the Summer Analyst will support the Philanthropy team acting as a trusted advisor to our family, business owner, and individual clients through philanthropic advisory, foundation administration, and donor advised funds. The team focuses on consulting, planning, and strategic implementation services for high net worth, ultra-high net worth individuals, families, estates and trusts. The Summer Analyst will gain exposure in all of these areas.
Responsibilities
- Assist in preparing materials for client meetings, including charitable planning summaries and giving history
- Help to conduct research on philanthropic trends and nonprofit organizations
- Support thought leadership initiatives by assisting with researching and writing white papers on various topics related to philanthropy
Qualifications
- High school degree required
- Pursuing a degree with a concentration in Finance, Business, Philanthropy or Nonprofit Management is desirable
- Prior internship experience in nonprofit, wealth management, or a family office setting a plus
Skills
- Highly proficient in Microsoft Office with emphasis on Excel; ability to use Excel to organize, analyze, present, and report on client information; Word, Access, and PowerPoint a plus
- Ability to work well independently and as a part of a team
- Ability to multi-task and be able to reassess priorities as situations arise
- Highly analytical, detail-oriented with attention to accuracy and meeting deadlines
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Ability to exercise discretion with confidential matters
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
