Founding GTM Engineer (Pipeline + Content)

About Us
We’re building Modus — an AI Sales Planning & Performance platform (YCombinator S24). www.himodus.com/sales-capacity. The mission is to help Ops and Finance leaders keep coverage, ramp, and pipeline aligned before revenue slips.

Now we need a cracked GTM Engineer — someone who blends technical chops, growth hacking instincts, and creative output — to generate pipeline at scale.

What You’ll Do

  • Pipeline as code: Design and execute multi-channel outbound campaigns (LinkedIn, email, video, community, creative stunts) that book 10+ meetings a week.
  • Engineer the GTM stack: Automate outreach flows, enrich data, build scrapers, test new tools — treat pipeline like a system you can break and optimize.
  • Content as weapon: Create high-output content using Figma, Adobe, CapCut, etc. — from thought leadership visuals to informational videos. Understand viral loops, but accept that out of 100 posts, perhaps just 1 will land. 
  • Full-funnel ownership: From writing the copy to pushing the send button to analyzing the results — complete accountability for experiments.
  • Velocity mindset: Test 10 ideas, kill 9 fast, double-down on the 1 that works. Move faster than anyone else in the market.
  • Collaborate deeply: Work with founders on messaging, ICP refinement, and building scalable motions — you’ll be shaping the company’s DNA.

What You Bring

  • Technical edge: Comfort with data tools, scrapers, APIs, automation platforms, and building quick scripts/workflows to hack scale.
  • Creative output: Ability to design, edit, and publish content fast (Figma, Adobe, CapCut, Canva, etc.).
  • Growth hacker instincts: Knows how to blend virality + precision targeting + quality; understands funnels, conversion rates, and compounding loops.
  • Sales hustle: Not afraid to cold DM, cold email, drop content, run experiments, and iterate at breakneck speed.
  • Obsessed with outcomes: You measure success by meetings booked and pipeline created — not vanity metrics.
  • Resilience: You know 90% of experiments won’t work — and you love it.
