Social Media Coordinator

Social Media Management

  • Generate, edit, publish, and share daily content for Metzcor, LLC across various platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and X.
  • Demonstrates effective communication strategies to ensure timely and relevant content distribution across all platforms.
  • Set up and optimize company pages within each social media platform to maximize visibility and reach.
  • Monitor, moderate, and respond to user-generated content per community policies.
  • Create weekly and monthly editorial calendars to promote company brands through various social media campaigns.
  • Respond promptly to comments and direct messages on social media platforms.
  • Perform market and trend research to support new strategies.
  • Track engagement and analyze performance metrics to identify high-performing campaigns.

Content Creation and Branding

  • Assist with the design and execution of social media campaigns.
  • Create and distribute content including blogs, photos, videos, and press releases for both digital and traditional media outlets.
  • Brainstorm and research ideas for original content.
  • Produce and manage professional-grade photos for flyers, brochures, signage, and other marketing materials.
  • Create, edit, and catalog participant, staff, and volunteer headshots for internal systems (Brittco, Airtable, etc.)

Website and SEO Management

  • Maintain and update metzcor.com and other business unit websites.
  • Ensure websites consistently rank on page 1 (top 3) of Google search results.
  • Continuously improve SEO strategies based on performance data and industry best practices.

Cross-Department Collaboration

  • Collaborate with other departments (activities, fundraising, and senior business team) to manage reputation, and coordinate marketing efforts.
  • Identify key players and influencers to support company initiatives.

Minimum Qualifications and Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a related field with 1+ years of experience
  • Advanced computer skills required; Mac, Photoshop, and Canva experience strongly preferred
  • Proven ability to coordinate and deliver on multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills and ability to interact well at all levels within the organization.
  • Effective time management and ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Strong attention to detail with ability to balance creativity and business goals
  • Maintains a current driver’s license and good driving record with less than five points.
  • Pass a drug test.
  • Pass a criminal background check and all exclusion list checks as required by DODD.
  • The ability to work within a matrix-style work environment with overlapping management reporting.
