Swim instructor

Serenity Swimming provides high quality private swim lessons to the Frederick, MD area. Serenity Swimming is a small, woman owned, and operated by the owner/ swim instructor.

Serenity Swimming is hiring high-quality, experienced, fun instructors in the Frederick area.

Our new indoor facility is located next to the Frederick Airport. Featuring WARM water (and air), 3 full 25 yd lap lanes, easy parking and private staff areas. We have focused on including conditions that will make your day better and families happy.

The new facility focuses on private swim lessons- but have plenty of other programing to round out your schedule.

Ideal candidates will have experience teaching swimming to children (or adults), can put a smile on a child's face, demonstrate maturity and time management skills.

Availability to work at least 2 evenings or weekend days (up to full time).

Typically 2 years of experience teaching swimming is ideal, but we also understand some amazing instructors may not have 2+ years, if this is the case, please apply and explain.

We are willing to train the right candidate. Especially those with a teaching, therapy, or working with special needs background. Training will be done at lower wage and as soon as you are a full performance instructor, moved up to $20/hr.

Requirements reliable transportation, reliable attendance, pass background check. Desired: CPR/ lifeguard certification (either before or after hiring).
