Junior Privacy Consultant
Job Description
As a member of the my3Twelve team, you will have an opportunity to advocate privacy compliance and work with our clients to deliver experiences that meet the needs of our customers. My3Twelve is seeking someone who will help provide insight into privacy program success, benchmarking within business networks, and help prepare metrics for business review with leadership. You will be owning new initiatives impacting client experience and driving privacy-focused programs. You will play a pivotal role in delivering technology-driven solutions that meet client expectations, while upholding rigorous privacy and data protection standards. This role requires helping to support technology projects and programs with external clients and other associates and leaders. The ideal candidate has experience in privacy or compliance, thrives in dynamic environments, collaborates across cross-functional teams, and ensures project execution aligns with privacy regulations and business objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage privacy-focused projects working across engineering, product, and compliance teams
- Facilitate project planning, stand-ups, and stakeholder reviews with a focus on privacy compliance
- Ensure timely delivery of meeting notes and status updates related to privacy initiatives
- Identify privacy risks early and propose mitigation strategies that balance technical feasibility and regulatory requirements
- Maintain and evolve internal and client-facing documentation with privacy considerations
- Develop strong privacy-focused narratives based on customer needs
- Prioritize tasks and define project scope, goals, and deliverables in alignment with client expectations and privacy frameworks
- Understand key drivers for the team and build alignment between customer and business with respect to privacy
- Manage rhythm of business lifecycles that maintains and supports workflows such as privacy reviews, consults, data inventories, and data tagging.
Qualifications
- 1–3 years of experience in privacy or compliance in IT consulting or technology project management
- Strong understanding of privacy regulations, software development lifecycles, cloud platforms, and enterprise IT environments
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage technical and non-technical stakeholders on privacy topics
- Familiarity with project management tools (e.g., Jira, ADO) and documentation platforms (e.g., SharePoint)
Highly Recommended
- Experience in data privacy, web accessibility, online safety, and information security in the technology field
- Experience supporting privacy compliance initiatives, including roadmap planning, and audit preparation
- Exposure to client-facing environments and consulting engagements in regulated industries (e.g., technology, healthcare, finance, government)
