Aquaculture Farm Technician Internship

Role Overview
The Aquaculture Farm Technician Intern will gain hands-on experience in sustainable oyster farming and aquaculture operations. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys outdoor work, values sustainability, and is curious about the future of food systems.

Responsibilities

Assist in daily farm operations, including seeding, harvesting, and maintaining oyster stock.

Monitor water quality and environmental conditions.

Support maintenance of gear, boats, and farm infrastructure.

Collect and record data on growth, mortality, and production.

Uphold best practices in sustainability, safety, and biosecurity.

Qualifications

Interest in aquaculture, marine science, or sustainable agriculture.

Comfort working outdoors in various weather conditions.

Ability to perform physical tasks and lift up to 40 lbs.

Strong attention to detail and reliability.

Team-oriented with good communication skills.
