Cloud Engineering Intern (Undergraduate - Summer 2026)

You could be the one who changes everything for our 28 million members as an Intern at Centene. During this 12-week program, you'll learn more about Centene and how we're transforming the health of the community, one person at a time. 

Position Purpose:
You will learn how to design, build, test, and maintain scalable and stable off-the-shelf application or custom-built technology solutions to meet business needs.

Skills: 

• Basic understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure).
• Familiarity with at least one scripting or programming language (Python, Bash, PowerShell, etc.).
• Exposure to CI/CD concepts and tools.
• Interest in Infrastructure as Code and cloud automation.
• Interest or experience in monitoring tools (e.g. CloudWatch). Dynatrace, Splunk experience is a plus.
• Good problem-solving skills and willingness to learn.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Education/Experience: High school diploma or equivalent. Must be enrolled in an undergraduate program at an accredited university or college, preferably in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a field related to the hiring department through the internship period.
