Social Media Direct Sales

Xcess Limited is hiring motivated hosts to sell general merchandise (clothing, electronics, shoes, jewelry, and more) for our live shopping business on the Whatnot app. You will be our front-facing personality, selling, educating, and communicating with potential buyers.

Candidates who excel in this role are comfortable being on camera, are high energy, and love to engage and interact with customers in this virtual setting. It's a fun job that pays well and makes your work day move quickly!

Some responsibilities include:

-Developing product understanding to effectively explain the items you're selling

-Engaging with viewers and replying to comments during your live stream, helping to build your community within our business and Whatnot stream

-Creating a lively and entertaining atmosphere during your streams

-Collaborating with Xcess staff to develop exciting content and on-air selling skills

-Building your show by selecting and organizing the merchandise you sell

Helpful candidate traits:

-Comfortable and effective communicator
-Reliable and consistent, driven by seeing your efforts result in sales
-Strong attention to detail, organized and able to analyze room data to make informed decisions

Full time preferred, but we are willing to work with you and your schedule
