The Blackstone GP Stakes business sits within the Strategic Partners group of Blackstone. GP Stakes acquires minority ownership interests in leading private equity firms (“GPs”).  This is a direct private equity investment strategy focused on alternative asset management as a sector.

The Strategic Value Team is a dedicated team within Blackstone GP Stakes that works with our partner firms to grow, institutionalize, and optimize the firms across a range of functional areas, such as new investment strategy development, fundraising, human capital, data science & AI, sustainability, public relations & branding, business operations, capital markets, and government & regulatory affairs.

 

Program Description

Blackstone's Summer Analyst Program is a 10-week in-person experience, offering participants extensive exposure across the firm. This program provides Summer Analysts with valuable guidance through mentorship, continuous feedback, technical and soft skill training, networking opportunities with professionals across the firm, and the unique chance to fully immerse themselves in Blackstone's culture.

2026 SP GP Stakes SVT Summer Analyst

 

Job Description:

The SVT Summer Analyst will support several activities for portfolio GPs including researching and assessing the impact of new investment strategy ideas and business lines, identifying market opportunities, advising on demand across asset classes, and developing strategic plans across functional areas.

 

Throughout the 10-week program, the SVT Summer Analyst will be exposed to many different value creating initiatives across functional areas.

 

Additional responsibilities will include:

  • Assisting the team in developing presentation materials, business plans, and memos for portfolio GPs
  • Assisting with keeping all pitch materials and internal marketing materials current
  • Interacting regularly with portfolio GPs to monitor business development and fundraising progress
  • Creating and delivering periodic updates on strategic value activity for portfolio GPs and on fundraising and material business developments relating to portfolio GPs
  • Tracking interactions with, and projects related to, portfolio GPs

 

Qualifications:

  • Currently enrolled as an undergraduate student
  • Anticipated graduation date: Fall 2026 – Spring 2027
  • Resume must include expected graduation month/year and GPA
