2026 Summer Intern, ServiceNow Developer

ICF is seeking a motivated 2026 Summer Intern, ServiceNow Developer to join our growing ServiceNow team. 

This is an entry-level, 10-week, full-time internship expected to begin in June and end in August. Work will be remote from anywhere in the United States. Pay is expected to be $23 per hour. At this time, we are unable to provide housing nor relocation assistance for this position.  ​ 

As a 2026 Summer Intern, ServiceNow Jr. Developer, you play a pivotal role in successfully deploying ServiceNow solutions for our clients. In this role, you will gain hands on experience configuring, customizing, and implementing ServiceNow applications to meet specific business requirements. Your technical expertise, attention to detail, and commitment to excellence will contribute significantly to the success of our projects and the satisfaction of our clients.  

  

Responsibilities: 

  • Assist Business Analysts in the collection of functional requirements and translate them into effective ServiceNow configurations.  
  • Assist in the configuration of ServiceNow applications and modules. This includes setting up workflows, business rules, user interfaces, and automation to ensure smooth and efficient operation. 
  • Help conduct thorough testing of ServiceNow configurations to validate functionality, data integrity, and user experience.  
  • Create detailed documentation of the configuration and customization for future reference. 
  • Support change management efforts by assisting users during the transition period, addressing inquiries, and resolving issues promptly. 
  • Collaborate with support teams to provide timely resolution to incidents and problems. 

 

Basic Qualifications: 

  • By start date, a minimum of 30 completed college-level credit hours is required preferably in computer science, Information Technology, or related field 

Preferred Qualifications: 

  • Familiarity with ServiceNow and/or other Low Code platforms (MS Power Platform, Salesforce, Appian) 
  • Certified System Administrator (CSA) certification (or actively pursuing) 
  • Familiarity with JavaScript - HTML5, Jelly, jQuery, and AngularJS. 
  • Detail-oriented with excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities. 
  • Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented, collaborative environment. 
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with clients and internal teams professionally.
