Marketing Intern – Social Media & Email Marketing

Location: Pleasant Hill, CA (East Bay) – hybrid/onsite preferred
Type: Paid Stipend Internship (approx. 5+/- hrs/week)
Start Date: Flexible – Fall 2025 or Spring 2026 semester

About Sparkologie
Sparkologie is a design-forward art, design & STEM studio that sparks creativity and innovation for kids. We run after-school enrichment programs, school-break camps, and community events that blend art, design, and technology in magical, hands-on ways.

Role Overview
We’re looking for an enthusiastic Marketing Intern to help grow our digital presence and connect with families in the East Bay. This role is perfect for a college student interested in social media marketing, email campaigns, and creative content.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan, create, and schedule engaging posts for Instagram, Facebook, and other social channels
  • Assist with email marketing campaigns (design templates, write copy, segment audiences)
  • Capture and edit photos/videos of studio activities (as permitted)
  • Brainstorm fun, brand-aligned content ideas to increase engagement and enrollment
  • Track basic metrics and share performance insights

What We’re Looking For

  • Currently enrolled in a college or university program (Marketing, Communications, Graphic Design, or related field preferred)
  • Strong writing and visual storytelling skills
  • Familiarity with Instagram, Facebook, Canva, or similar tools
  • Organized, detail-oriented, and proactive
  • Passion for art, design, kids’ creativity, or community-based programs is a plus
