Industrial Design - PAID Summer Internship/Job (focus on Woodshop)
Spend your summer in the beautiful Berkshire Mountains! We are seeking a skilled individual to join our team. This is an Industrial Design Internship with a focus on Woodworking and as the Woodshop Director at camp, you will be responsible for teaching groups of campers in our wood shop. You will work with and teach campers how to cut wood using various saws, drills, stencils, tools, and equipment and help them make projects such as baseball bats, model cars, skateboards, and more. You will also manage the inventory of all shop supplies, submit supply requests for items needed, and maintain the upkeep and safety of the shop.
Students or recent graduates looking to add to their portfolio are welcome to apply.
In addition to running the Woodshop, you will be a camp counselor taking part and guiding campers through daily camp activities, special events and serving as a role model.
Staff live at camp and reside in a cabin alongside their group of campers. This is a seasonal, paid position from mid-June to mid-August. Food, housing, a travel stipend, comprehensive staff training, and days off are included as part of the compensation package.
