After-School Dance Club Instructor (Part-Time)

Location: Afreya’s Playground Childcare Center – Cary, NC

Hours: 1 hour/week (4:00–5:00 PM, weekday)

Pay: $25 per class plus $5 for every student after the first (example: 10 students = $70 for the hour)

Do you have a passion for dance and inspiring kids? We are seeking a Dance Club instructor to teach a fun, creative after-school class for ages 3–7. This is a great opportunity for a college dance major, high school dance team member, or local dancer who enjoys sharing their love of movement.

Responsibilities:

• Plan and lead a weekly dance class (styles flexible – hip hop, ballet basics, creative movement, etc.).
• Introduce rhythm, coordination, and self-expression through music and movement.
• Keep classes engaging and fun for young children.

Qualifications:

• Dance training or performance background.
• Strong communication and classroom management skills.
• Experience with children a plus (but not required).
