ARC- PIE Internship- Bakery Management Intern
Under the supervision of faculty instructors and supporting staff, the Bakery Management Intern assists with managing daily operations in the Oak Café Bakery. This role involves hands-on leadership in managing inventory, submitting purchase orders, calculating food costs, ensuring product quality, planning and executing catering orders, updating POS systems, and maintaining compliance with food safety standards. This position is designed to provide practical experience in bakery management and leadership development in a professional setting.
Hours for the position are variable, with interns expected to be available as early as 6 am.
Applicants must have prior frontline food service or kitchen experience. Applicants who do not meet this requirement will not be considered.

This internship is funded through the Paid Industry Experience (PIE) Program. Students who can participate in this internship must meet the following requirements:
- Be eligible to work in the US
- Be enrolled at least half-time across all Los Rios campuses (six units for spring or fall; three units for summer)
- Have a 2.0 GPA or higher
