Maple River  Veterinary Associates is hiring a full-time associate veterinarian. An independently owned  mixed animal practice located in Alanson Michigan, just 15 minutes to Petoskey, 30  minutes to the Mackinaw Bridge. Come live where people vacation! We are a 4 doctor  (ideally 5 doctor) practice, we provide 24/7 emergency care to only our established  clients. On call is equally shared and emergency visits are compensated for. New grads are  welcome to apply. We are a very collaborative practice. The ideal candidate would be  comfortable treating many species. We are about 70% small animal, 30% large. We only  service a few large dairies; most cattle work is beef. A wide array of equine patients and  clients as well as some small ruminant and swine clientele. We have all the tools you need,  in house Idexx lab, digital x-ray, digital large animal x-ray, dental x-ray, ultrasound, large  animal reproductive ultrasound and cold laser therapy. We pride ourselves on providing  excellent veterinary care to our rural community. We have been in the community for years.  Many families have been with the practice for decades.
