Job Title: Line Cook / Culinary Team Member – BBQ Food Truck (Part-Time)

Midan’s BBQ is a local food truck serving up slow-smoked Texas BBQ with pride and passion. We’re looking for someone who loves food, teamwork, and fast-paced kitchen environments to join our crew.

Job Summary:

We are seeking a motivated individual with kitchen or line cook experience to help us prepare, cook, and serve high-quality BBQ. Culinary program experience is a plus but not mandatory.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in preparing and cooking BBQ meats, sides, and handheld items.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen and prep areas.
• Operate grills, smokers, fryers, and other kitchen equipment safely.
• Support the team with prep work, plating, and service during peak hours.
• Follow food safety and sanitation standards.
• Work efficiently in a fast-paced, small-team environment.

Qualifications:

• Kitchen or line cook experience preferred.
• Culinary program students or graduates encouraged to apply.
• Strong work ethic and ability to follow directions.
• Ability to work in hot, fast-moving environments.
• Reliability and teamwork skills are a must.
• BBQ or smoker experience is a plus (but not required—we’ll train the right person).

Schedule:

• Part-time (weekends and some weekdays depending on events).
• Must be flexible for lunch and dinner shifts.
