2025-26 Field Season Internships - Buffalo Field Campaign

Protect Buffalo from human-impacted extinction! Intern for sustainable public land use, biodiversity conservation, tribal co-stewardship, and climate change resiliency!

Where: Yellowstone National Park / Greater Yellowstone Ecosystem

Buffalo Field Campaign (BFC) is seeking the skills, interest, and dedication of undergraduate and graduate interns for the 2025-26 Field Season!

BFC field season interns participate in field patrols to observe and protect Buffalo (Bison bison bison) during their annual migration from Yellowstone National Park to lower elevations within native habitat to sustainably graze during the winter months and calve in their traditional calving grounds.

You will be part of a team that observes and records Buffalo movement in hiking boots, on cross-country skis, and in field patrol vehicles. You will participate in facilitating safe
