Part Time Ranch Hand

About the Role

We’re looking for a part-time Ranch Hand to join our team. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on agricultural work, has experience with livestock, and is excited about regenerative ranching practices. This is a flexible, part-time role with the opportunity to grow into more responsibility.

Location: Longmont, CO

Pay: $20/hour

Schedule: 1–4 days per week; 2–4 hours per day with morning start (~8am)

Responsibilities

Daily livestock care and ranch chores

Perform physical tasks, such as moving equipment and materials

Complete needed ranch projects and general maintenance

Work outdoors in variable weather conditions

Assist with regenerative grazing: electric fencing, paddock setup, and herd moves

Work alongside and with livestock guardian dogs

Preferred Skills & Experience

Basic experience working with livestock (sheep and/or pigs preferred)

Basic ranch/agricultural skills (i.e., fencing, irrigation, corrals)

Bonus skills: construction; mechanical aptitude; equipment operation; welding
