Job Title: Proposal Coordinator – Aerospace Aftermarket

Position Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented Proposal Coordinator with aerospace aftermarket/repair station experience. This role focuses heavily on customer service and requires expertise in planning, coordinating, and preparing proposals of moderate scope and complexity in response to customer requests. The Proposal Coordinator will support marketing and post-sales efforts within an Aerospace Aftermarket Repair Station environment.

Functions and Responsibilities

Analyze customer requests to determine scope, response format, and required resources.

Coordinate development and compilation of information from functional departments for accurate and timely proposal responses.

Review and edit responses to ensure clarity, compliance, and alignment with customer requirements.

Research historical data, resolve moderately complex technical issues, and address customer inquiries.

Interface with customer representatives to gather information, discuss pricing, and develop justification.

Lead proposal response teams or assigned segments, ensuring on-schedule performance and resource alignment.

Provide contract support by researching data, resolving discrepancies, and answering inquiries.

Develop and deliver product presentations at seminars, symposiums, trade shows, and customer facilities.

Apply continuous improvement techniques to enhance customer value and company performance.

Maintain professional knowledge through training, trade publications, and industry networking.

Collect, organize, and maintain data for marketing reports, analyses, and proposals.

Ensure compliance with federal, state, and aerospace regulations.

Mentor new employees, represent the company on specific projects, and contribute to team efforts.

Qualifications

Aerospace aftermarket/repair station experience required.

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or related field.

Minimum of 2 years of marketing, proposal coordination, or related experience.

Knowledge of industry practices, proposal management, and related regulations.

Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Proficiency in business software (databases, spreadsheets, MS Office, etc.).

Ability to prepare proposals to prescribed formats and effectively communicate with customers, agencies, and business representatives.

Strong teamwork and continuous improvement mindset.

Physical Requirements

Regularly required to sit, use hands for computer operation, and communicate effectively.

Occasionally required to stand and walk.

Close vision required.

Must maintain regular attendance, manage multiple tasks, and work cooperatively in a professional environment.
