The Team & Role 

As a Supplier Quality & Development Engineer, you will help drive metrics of cost, delivery and quality to support the business objectives and use skills such as problem solving, advance quality planning, and design for manufacturing.  This position has the responsibility to coordinate with procurement counterparts in strategic and tactical supply base decisions. Will be involved thru multiple stages of the Gate Management Process beginning with supplier assessment audits, reviewing proposals, technical reviews and quality planning, process development, production approval and launch. 

 Key Responsibilities & Your Day-to-Day  

Quality Audits: Assist in Conducting regular audits of supplier facilities to ensure compliance with quality standards.

Process Improvement: Collaborating with suppliers and internal partners to enhance manufacturing processes and reduce defects.

Quality Control: Developing and implementing quality control plans, including inspection and testing procedures.

Data Analysis: Analyzing quality data and trends to identify areas for improvement.

Documentation: Maintaining records of supplier performance, quality audits, and corrective actions.

 What You Bring 

Strong analytical skills and proficiency in Excel (PivotTables, VLOOKUP); Power BI or Tableau is a plus.

Exposure to ERP systems (SAP, Oracle) or procurement platforms (ETQ) is a bonus.

Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Curiosity, initiative, and a passion for global supply chains and sourcing strategy.

 

Minimum Qualifications

Currently enrolled and pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Analytics, Finance, Technology Systems, Engineering, or related technical fields.

Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher

Anticipated Graduation of December 2026 or May 2027
